Cosmil overview
Cosmil is a file manager and Finder alternative for macOS designed around flexible multi-pane workflows, fast navigation, and a customizable interface. Its translucent, glassy design integrates with the macOS desktop while providing additional tools for managing local, cloud, and remote files.

Remote Location Support
- FTP, SFTP, SMB 2/3, and WebDAV server support
- Support for opening and editing remote files in any app — changes are automatically uploaded to the server (w/ progress and the ability to cancel uploads in the job manager)
- NAS discovery through the Network sidebar item
- Support for previewing remote files through the native macOS Quicklook preview pane
- Full support for transferring files between any combination of locations
- Support for dragging or pasting remote files to other applications with lazy downloading
- Choose between ephemerally connecting to locations or securely saving credentials for future use
Durable Resumable Transfers
- Copy/Move operations can now be gracefully paused and resumed on-demand
- Interrupted transfers (e.g. network disconnect, computer slept, etc.) can now be opportunistically resumed
- Byte-level file resume where possible — large single (or multi) file transfers that are interrupted can be resumed from where they left off instead of restarting from byte 0
- Safer move operations by default (for non-native moves, the source is retained until all files have been copied instead of copying then deleting concurrently)
- New "Move Source Deletion" preference if concurrent copy then delete moves are desired
Keyboard Improvements
- Implement orthodox F5/F6 to copy/move selected files between panes
- Tab/Shift+Tab to cycle the active pane/tab (tab only if there are 2+ panes)
- Ctrl+Tab/Ctrl+Shift+Tab to cycle active tabs when using multiple panes
- Cmd+1…9 to switch between tabs (browser style)

- All configuration and settings are saved and exportable, even after the trial has ended
Other Improvements
- Implement drag-to-reorder for list view column headers and tabs
